What Is Arbitrage Betting?

Arbitrage (arbing), is a word taken from stock markets and retail which involves buying an asset in a market and selling it simultaneously in another at a higher price. The difference between the buying and selling price gives the profit. Arbitrage betting is otherwise known as sure betting. Basically, this strategy abuses the variations in odds that are placed on sports event among bookies. This rarely happens, and this is why you must carefully observe and take quick action.

It can operate on the Back and Lay principle, even though there are no free bonuses attached. Placing arbitrage bets requires that you use a betting exchange. Immediately you see that the lay odds on an event are much lower than the back odds on the same event, that is a good arbitrage betting opportunity. This often happens when the exchange lowers the odds, and the bookies fail to correct theirs before you notice it; for one reason or the other. As fancy as it seems, however, arbitrage bets require a high level of knowledge, at least better than the average bettor possesses. Meanwhile, the methods are easy to learn. Simply, when the odds are higher at the bookmaker than the lay odds are on the exchange, this is a typical arb. If you look towards making consistent profit, you can use arbitrage bets. But it is critical that you remember that you have to beat the bookies. Now, if you seek further information on betting strategies, and how they can be used to beat the bookies, watch out for more videos in the series. Good luck! Thank you!
