Roulette is a fun game that players can play with other players and sometimes even against other players. It’s a game that’s been around for centuries in different forms. The online version of the game is the latest iteration of roulette punters that can play. Online roulette is similar to the casino version. A ball is spun in the opposite direction that a table is spun. And punters get to place their bets in real-time digitally. Roulette gives punters several ways to win a bet. A punter can bet on odd or even, high or low, red or black, column strategy, specific numbers, etc. With odds, color, and high or low, a punter has straightforward odds. However, with more options, a punter’s odds vary and they stand to win a lot more than the usual 1:1.

What Is The Paroli Betting System?

Paroli comes from the word at par (Latin) meaning equal. A Paroli betting system is a betting strategy where a punter doubles their stake amount after each bet made, up to a maximum of three bets only. Even though the Paroli betting system is based on the idea of doubling your profits with each consecutive bet, it’s almost next to impossible to consistently predict the correct outcome. It’s harder to get every prediction right with a higher number of consecutive bets. Hence, this is why the Paroli betting system dictates letting your wager ride and letting it double up to a maximum of three times. After the third bet, a punter takes his winnings off the table and starts the process from scratch. It’s essential to realize your winnings at regular intervals because it’s generally harder to get more than three accurate predictions correct.

Features Of Paroli Betting System

We take a look at some of the important features of the Paroli betting system. Some of these features include fixing an initial stake:

Fix An Initial Stake For Each Bet

A punter should fix a reasonable initial stake for each initial bet. The initial stake is generally a fraction of your bankroll. This enables punters to secure themselves from running out of their bankroll if they lose a few bets. Fixing an initial stake also helps a punter stick to a method and enforces a key betting asset – discipline. As a general rule, ensure that your initial stake’s maximum upper limit doesn’t exceed more than 5% of your bankroll. Should you decide to gamble 5%, it would take you 20 consecutive losses for your bankroll to be effectively wiped out.

Losses Are Limited

A punter’s losses are limited to their initial bet only, in terms of real loss. This means a punter loses their initial bet, and sometimes, profits won within the three rounds of betting. So a punter isn’t losing their funds (bankroll funds) for successive bets, unlike the Martingale betting system. In the latter, a punter is required to make up for losses in previous bets with a higher initial stake made from his or her bankroll.

Profits Are Capped

While a punter’s losses are limited, his profits are also capped. A punter’s profits are capped at 7x or 7 times his initial stake. If a punter chooses to bet $100 and wins all three rounds, the punter will win $800 ($700 profit + $100 initial stake). This gives the punter an edge when he knows how much he stands to win or lose over a single round, a game, or a night of roulette.

Earned Profits Forgone

One downside of this system is that earned profits tend to be forgone more often than not. This means that if a punter gets his first bet right and second wrong, or his second right and third wrong will lose profits on the table. When you get the first bet wrong, you lose your initial stake (let’s say $100). If you get your second bet wrong, you lose $200 ($100+$100). If you get your third bet wrong, you lose $400 ($300+$100). So while you lose $100 from your bankroll, you could lose up to $300 from the table in any sequence.

Works Best With 1:1 Odds

The Paroli betting system works best on roulette games with 1:1 odds. Punters have an advantage when using the Paroli system to bet on color (red or black), odd or even, and high and low. The odds of accurately predicting a game with 1:1 odds are much higher than trying to predict a game with odds of 1:2 or higher.
